The Beyond Gallery & Gift shop presents "Natural World," a collaborative art exhibition. It features 39 pieces of art by 21 artists. The opening reception is on Friday, August 7th from 5:30-7:30p. The show runs until Saturday, September 26th. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10-6p, Sunday from 12-4p and we are closed on Mondays.

Learn to square dance with Lafayette Fun Squares! Lessons begin Tue Sept 8 and run through Dec.
$7 for adults, $5 for students. First 2 lessons are FREE.

Join Jeffrey Heavilon as he shares his ancestor Moses Rush Allen’s Civil War
letters at the Frankfort Community Public Library on Aug. 25 at 5:30 p.m.

Allen, a Clinton County native, served as a private in Company I of the 100th Indiana Infantry
from September 1862 to June 1865. He marched over 4,000 miles and participated in 25
battles, starting with the siege of Vicksburg. Allen took part in Gen. Sherman’s Atlanta and
Savannah campaigns.

After his Civil War service, he returned to Clinton County and eventually became one of the
largest landholders in Washington Township. During Allen’s time, he was known for his
excellent judgment in business matters, and he frequently assisted his neighbors and friends
with legal matters.

Heavilon retired from an orthopedic surgeon practice with Central Indiana Orthopedics in 2020.
Since then, he has been researching his ancestors, spoiling grandchildren whenever possible,
and working with the Exchange Club to make Muncie, Ind. a better place to live.

This Clinton County Genealogical Society meeting is free and open to the public. It will be held

Doom Scroll describes its acoustic punk sound as “aggressive, melodic punk/crust wave” with complex instrumentation and layers of harmonies knitted from decades of music appreciation and performance.

Hans Gruber and the Die Hards are an energetic, Austin, Texas-based punk, ska, and skacore collective. Formed in 2014, the DIY band is known for their breakneck tempos, socially conscious lyrics, and theatrical live shows, which feature a rotating cast of over 30 musicians and elaborate sock puppets.
The band was established by core members Kurt Armstrong, Rosey Armstrong, and Chris Thompson. Their chaotic, genre-bending sound frequently blends traditional ska with hardcore punk, Latin, Cumbia, and folk influences..
